Slope Stabilization

Linden Long, owner of LCM Company, has seen his share of steep slopes. He claims that the problem is only getting worse due to the fact that people are trying to utilize every space they can on increasingly smaller lot sizes. This dynamic is leading people to build in areas that are much more difficult to vegetate and keep from eroding. That was the problem the LCM Company was dealing with on a commercial building project in Lexington. The steep slope behind LCM’s construction site was loosing soil over a retaining wall. To remedy the situation EcoGro applied a compost-based system to stabilize soil, divert surface runoff and facilitate vegetative cover.

Key Features:

  • Design/build
  • Bank stabilization
  • Compost-based erosion controls
