DESIGN / FEASIBILITY STUDY

Trash pollution in our waterways is one of the largest and readily visible issues affecting our water today. In addition to destroying habitat, releasing chemicals into the environment, and harming wildlife that ingest trash, there is also significant impact to humans in terms of both financial cost and quality of life. Landowners along Cane Run creek see increasing amounts of trash from the urban watershed being washed onto their property. The Cane Run watershed is worth protecting because it provides drinking water for the city of Georgetown.
