Wetlands Mitigation

The purpose of this project was to restore Kentucky native plants to a disturbed wetland. EcoGro was hired to develop a wetland species list and install plant materials. Trees, grasses, sedges, rush and various wildflowers were selected based on site suitability and cost considerations. The native plants and an annual cover crop were installed to re-vegetate the denuded site and to help prevent soil erosion.
